David Michael Garcia

Owner David Michael Garcia opened David Michael Salon in River Oaks in 2005.

A well-traveled Houston native, his passion for hair developed during his teenage years spent in local punk rock clubs, and further blossomed during his training as a fine artist at the University of Texas in Austin. Passionate about color and aesthetics, he later completed beauty school and apprenticed with well-known Swiss stylist Alexander Zbindin, learning European styling methods. He has done training with many top stylists in the US and Europe.

As an innovator, creator, team leader and mentor, David Michael has more than 25 years of experience, five of which were spend as a highly respected Sebastian Educator and Platform Artist. He continues to hone his skills and receive inspiration for his work from art, travel, fashion, music and culture.

Nenette Pescion

Nenette has an intuitive understanding of texture and balance and has learned the art of merging design and color into her craft—keeping her clients looking good and feeling amazing.  Like fashion, the Art of Styling is always changing.  Nenette believes there is always something to learn and someone to learn from.

AMY HOLT

After receiving her business degree from Sam Houston State University, Amy went on to Paul Mitchell The School Houston and that’s where she learned to love the artistry of hair.  She prides herself on client satisfaction and has never met a stranger in her life.  She loves every aspect of the game from color and cutting to styling and extensions.  Although she may seem young, she stays up to date with what’s on trend and clients always leave her chair with a smile on their face.

Natalia ButterField

Natalia prides herself in caring for the hair while not sacrificing its integrity. She encourages an individual approach for a customized style that brings out the best. She has a thirst for knowledge and views education a priority. “Knowledge enables me to provide, recommend and administer the finest hair treatments to create and preserve you look.” Events and special occasions are excellent times to call Natalia for that elegant up-do style or for something a little funky and different to dazzle the crowd.

Tyler Wachel

Tyler is a master stylist with over 10yrs experience in the industry. He specializes in Haircutting, Color, Balayage and Hair Extensions. He has a passion for knowledge and is always up on the current trends and cutting edge techniques. He prides himself on customer satisfaction and his excellent work ethic.
